Characterization of the CEO Phase Noise of an Erbium Fiber Frequency Comb

Abstract

We measure the carrier-envelope phase noise of our Er:fiber frequency comb based on difference frequency generation. Integrating from 70 mHz to 20 MHz we achieve an excellent RMS phase jitter of only 61 mrad.
