Abstract

The work describes implementation of a single-pixel camera approach for development of biometrics authentication system as well as new ways of performing spatial light modulation required for this approach – by using a liquid crystal display or diffusely scattering medium. It is shown that such improvements of the single-pixel camera approach allow us to avoid using a conventional optical system thus performing miniaturization of the entire system.
