Three-dimensional fractal structure of a blood clot using quantitative phase imaging

Abstract

We demonstrate a quantitative phase imaging technique to measure the three-dimensional structure of a blood clot. The technique offers a non-invasive, speckle-free and label-free approach for exploring the fractal characteristics of fibrin network.
