Normalization method for generalized phase-shifting digital holography

Abstract

We propose a normalization method for arbitrary phase-shifted speckle-like digital hologram. We present the approximate condition with respect to the norm of the phase-shifted hologram using the statistical property of the random phase distribution in the Fresnel diffraction field. In this method, the object wave can be retrieved without estimating the phase shift values.
