Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method to generate mesh-based computer-generated-hologram (CGH) rapidly using foveated rendering technique. Mesh-based CGH is one of the CGH techniques which use computer graphical information represented by polygon mesh model. Foveated rendering is a technique used in head-mounted displays (HMDs) to reduce the computational load by reducing the image resolution in peripheral area.
