Abstract

Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) is a method of generating physically secure links over a quantum channel guarateed by the laws of physics rather than mathematical complexity. There exists commercial QKD systems which are designed for integration into data centres and as such are large and expensive. We have developed a miniaturized source which is suitable for integration into novel applications.
