Abstract

Laser frequency stabilization is nowadays mainly dominated by the use of high finesse Fabry-Perot cavities (FPC). However, recently developed optical lattice clocks show performances that are limited by the instability of the cavity used to stabilize the probe laser frequency owing to the brownian motion of the cavity elements.
