Abstract

The laser medium made of a single crystal is generally limited by several factors. For the improvement of these factors, the use of ceramics materials for the laser has been proposed. In this study, we fabricated a transparent ruby using sol -gel method and characterized lattice structure, transmission and PL spectra.
