Abstract

A polarization imaging camera for visible wavelength light has been made with a form birefringent micro-retarder array. The retarder array consists of 652×494 fused silica subwavelength gratings of 300nm period. The retarder array and a polarizer film are attached to a black-and-white CCD. Four Stokes-parameter images are obtained.
