Three dimensional imaging using reference structures

Abstract

We describe an imaging system based on a novel volume optical element, a tomographic reference structure, which implements a mapping from a three dimensional source volume on to a two dimensional sensor plane. We show how reference structures spatially segment a three dimensional source volume and present some results.
