Abstract

We investigate the effects of metabolic activity on the excited state dynamics of the native NADH in acute hippocampal slices using time-resolved 2P-fluorescence microscopy and anisotropy. We also exploit the sensitivity of this methodology to explore regional differences within the hippocampus (e.g., stratum radiatum versus stratum pyramidale).
