Abstract

Multi-block copolymers containing certain rigid conjugated donor blocks, rigid conjugated acceptor blocks, and flexible non-conjugated bridge blocks have been designed, synthesized and characterized. In comparison to blends of the corresponding conjugated donor and acceptor blocks, the synthesized multi-block copolymers exhibited better morphology, increased photoluminescence quenching, and improved charge mobility.
