Abstract

We propose a strategy for building quantum memory for a general N-qubit state through a sequence of specially prepared optical pulses. Our proposal specially focusses on storing and retrieving quantum entanglement using an extension of a recent method devised by Greentree et al. [1] for a single qubit quantum memory.
