Abstract

Certain commonly used solid explosive materials have absorption resonances in THz frequency range. We measured absorption spectrum of 2,4-DNT by differential THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz- DTDS) and conventional THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS). Differential method enhances the sensitivity and reduces the influence of water vapor absorption.
