Abstract

I discuss information-based (IB) metrics for design, analysis, and processing. Three examples are used. Feature-specific imaging exemplifies IB design, LADAR imaging and 3D super-resolution exemplify IB processing, and an experiment to measure the information velocity in a fast-light medium facilitates a description of IB data analysis.
