THz transmission spectroscopic studies of deoxyhemoglobin

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Broadband absorption between from 0.4 to 1.6 THz, with strong spectroscopic features at 0.8 and 1.4 THz identified as normal modes of hemoglobin, are observed in deoxyhemoglobin powder and film by THz time-domain spectroscopy for the first time. Full-text article is not available.
