Cavity Solitons: Creation, Control, Complexes

Abstract

Cavity solitons1 are self-localized beams which can exist in resonators hosting many nonlinear media, in particular semiconductors2. They can act as re-configurable optical pixels, useful in information processing, making their creation, control and coupling important.
