Fiber Laser-based Scheme to Generate Stabilized Carrier-envelope-phase Light via Controllable Cherenkov Radiation

Abstract

Using controllable Cherenkov radiation generated in a short photonic-crystal-fiber, pulses with self-stabilized carrier-envelope-phase at ~1530-nm are generated for the first time with a mode-locked Yb:fiber laser system in an all-optical scheme.
