Abstract

Ceramic laser technique broke a scaling limit of solid state lasers. For the future IFE driver, a temperature tuning of Yb:YAG is proposed to adjust the emission cross section to the suitable parameter window for IFE driver. Low temperature operation of ceramic lasers gives us advantages in thermal conductivity and others.
