Abstract

LLNL's SSHCL experience with 10×10×2 cm Nd:YAG amplifier slabs from Konoshima Ltd. is described. Slabs framed with ceramic Sm:YAG for ASE suppression by co-sintering and other ceramic materials are also discussed.
