Fiber Optic Temperature Sensor Based On Surface Plasmon Resonance

Abstract

A fiber optic temperature sensor based on surface plasmon resonance with gold as metallic layer and TiO2 as sensing layer is proposed and analyzed theoretically. The effect of fiber parameters on its performance is studied.
