Abstract

Compact slit-less spectrometers using cylindrical beam volume holograms (CBVHs) are presented with several advantages over conventional spectrometers. Spectrometers with large spectral range, large acceptance angle, or high throughput can be demonstrated using special- designed multiplexed CBVHs.
