High Resolution Optoelectronic Retinal Prosthesis

Abstract

Retinal prosthetic system based on conversion of near-infrared light into pulsed electric current using subretinal photodiode array will be presented. System performance, limits of resolution and issues of the interface with retina will be discussed.
