Linear spectral estimation and the design of superresolution filters

Abstract

A linear spectral estimation technique, the PDFT algorithm, is presented as a promising design strategy for superresolution filters. This non-iterative algorithm is applied to synthesize filters with rotational symmetry and compared with other approaches.
