Optical Frequency Comb Generation from a Monolithic Micro-Resonator via the Kerr Nonlinearity

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

It is shown that the cascaded optical sidebands generated via optical parametric oscillations in a monolithic microcavity are equidistant down to a resolution bandwidth limited level of 2 kHz. (Nonlinear Optics: Materials, Fundamentals and Applications, 2007) Article not available.
