THz Tunable Slow Light and Fast Light of Ultrashort Pulses in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers

Abstract

Electrically tunable delays and advances for 600fs pulses are achieved using ultra-fast nonlinearities in SOAs. Feasibility of cascading multiple SOAs to achieve higher delays is confirmed using a novel scheme that uses a single SOA. (Slow and Fast Light, 2007) Article not available.
