Abstract

Cladding-pumped fibers have gained significant interest in the recent years due to their potential within the area of high power fiber lasers and amplifiers. The talk will present basics and record-breaking experimental data of double-clad fiber structures, fiber lasers and multimode combiners based on photonic crystal fiber technology.
