Abstract

Silicon-organic hybrid (SOH) integration allows overcoming insufficient nonlinear optical properties of silicon-on-insulator waveguides. We discuss 100 Gbit/s electro-optic modulation and demonstrate 120 Gbit/s all-optical signal processing with SOH devices.
