Novel Methods for Cellular Transfection with Femtosecond Laser Pulses

Abstract

We explore methods of cell transfection using ultrashort pulses using advanced beam shaping. We show the advantages of using Bessel light modes and engineered fibres obviating the need to exactly locate the cell membrane.
