Hyperoxic Gas Inhalation Coupled with Differential Optical Imaging for Breast Cancer

Abstract

We employ differential optical imaging for breast cancer. The proposed technique exploits tumor vascular response to inspired hyperoxic gases to provide contrast. Results from preliminary clinical trials are presented.
