Receptor Targeted Mono-Molecular Imaging Agents (MOMIAs) for Optical and Nuclear Imaging

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Optical imaging is an emerging in vivo imaging modality that could act synergistically when paired with nuclear imaging methods such as single photon computed tomography (SPECT) or positron emission tomography (PET). For example, the receptor status of a tumor or metastatic site could be confirmed by PET or SPECT, and then monitored longitudinally by optical imaging for such changes as tumor response to therapy. The MOMIA approach combines a single imaging agent bearing multiple reporter moieties. The synthesis, in vitro and in vivo evaluation of MOMIAs will be presented. Article not available.
