Biexciton lineshapes in semiconductor QWs are revealed by cross-polarized 2D Fourier-transform spectroscopy

Abstract

Real part of cross-polarized 2D Fourier-transform spectra of GaAs QWs show biexciton lineshapes without excitonic many-body effects dominating the spectra. This is the first observation, enabled by an all-optical method for “phasing” the 2DFT spectra.
