Abstract

Precise control over individual diffractive elements (“lines”) comprising a Bragg grating allows for advanced spectral programming and, for slab waveguides, incorporation of spatial beamshaping/routing. We discuss application of photolithographic patterning tools enabling line-by-line grating fabrication.
