Active Optical Isolator Using Adiabatic Wavelength Conversion in Microcavities

Abstract

We present an integrated optical isolator based on adiabatic wavelength conversion in microcavities. The isolator uses a time-division sampling method to ensure complete isolation of optical pulses with an extinction of 24 dB.
