Nearly octave-spanning cascaded four-wave-mixing generation in dispersion optimized highly nonlinear fiber

Abstract

Efficient generation of cascaded four-wave mixing using a dispersion flattened optical fiber is reported. The measured optical frequency comb (with 300 GHz spacing) spans over 900 nm.
