Controlled Blinking Statistics of Single Colloidal Quantum Dots in a Half Cavity

Abstract

The blinking statistics of single CdSe/ZnS quantum dots can be modified and controlled by an optical mirror. We study the modified statistical and correlation properties of single quantum dots as a function of dot-mirror distance.
