Indistinguishability of Photons Produced by Raman Scattering

Abstract

The quantum indistinguishability of photons produced by Raman scattering in the presence of excited-state dephasing is analyzed. Increasing the laser detuning can help significantly if the noise correlation timescale falls within a certain window.
