Widely-Tunable Cavity-less 40 GHz Picosecond Pulse Source

Abstract

We demonstrate a wavelength tunable 40 GHz optical pulse source using a cavity-less architecture. High-quality 2.2 ps picosecond pulses with SNR exceeding 30 dB are obtained over a wide - 95 nm tunable range.
