Abstract
We present a novel implementation of optical tweezers and microfluidics that allow for the controlled production and manipulation of monodisperse water droplets in an immiscible phase - hydrosomes. We demonstrate the manipulation of multiple sub-micron sized hydrosomes with applications in single-molecule studies
