Spatial beam endorsed optical trapping of multiple Au nanoparticles/E.coli and gateway to plasmonic sensors

Abstract

We demonstrate multiple trapping of Au nanoparticles (253 nm.) and also low refractive index microorganism E.coli bacteria, which is made possible by intra-cavity generated spatially inhomogeneous laser beam in optical tweezers.
