Abstract

In this work a study of second harmonic (SH) generation of femtosecond pulses focused with diffractive lenses is presented. We have found that the central wavelength of the SH pulses can be easily tuned by changing the relative distance between the lens and the crystal. Results are compared to those obtained with an achromatic refractive lens.
