Determination of the Sampling Factor in a Phase-Diverse Phase Retrieval Algorithm

Abstract

The sampling factor (Q) determines the scale relationship between the pupil and image plane. Knowledge of this quantity is essential for obtaining accurate phase retrieval results. We present a method for determining Q from image data.
