Abstract

We study the role of the anisotropy field in the laser-induced magnetization dynamics on thin films of Fe on MgO (Fe/MgO) and permalloy on Si (Py/Si). We also characterize the local anisotropy and the Gilbert damping constant analising the resuls using the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation.
