Abstract
Due to the high precision of ultrashort laser pulse photodisruption in tissue, femtosecond lasers (i.e. lasers maintaining pulse durations of less than 10−12 seconds) have found numerous applications in eye surgery ranging from the cornea all the way to the retina. Here at LenSx, we have focused on using femtosecond lasers for cataract surgery.
