Ultra-small Fiber Probe Grating Sensor

Abstract

A miniaturized fiber probe grating (FPG) using focused ion beam (FIB) method for refractive index sensing application is fabricated and investigated. It is the smallest fiber grating by now and it has strong surface corrugations with deep air holes periodically.
