Lasers for high brightness X-FEL photo injectors

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Performance of the LCLS x-ray FEL is critically dependent on characteristics of a conventional laser that drives the RF-photogun, generating a high-brightness electron beam. The evolution and future of this laser system will be discussed. Article not available.
