Abstract

We present a new method of reconstructing the optical system of the human eye based on combined measurements from an aberrometer and corneal topographer (iDesign, Abott Medical Optics) and a partial coherence interferometer (IOL Master, Zeiss). The combined data is imported into an optical design software Zemax for optimization of a generic eye models with a gradient index lens. The model is optimized with the reverse ray tracing to satisfy all constrains imposed on the model. We demonstrate the proposed method by reconstructing a subject-specific eye model, which is consistent with measurements of ocular aberrations in the central visual field.
