CNOT Gate with Polarization and Orbital Angular Momentum of Single Photons

Abstract

We propose a linear, single-photon, deterministic controlled-NOT (CNOT) gate implemented by a polarization-sensitive spatial light modulator. The polarization qubit controls the photon orbital angular momentum qubits.
