Polarization Dependent Manipulation of Optical Properties in a Tripod System of Metastable Helium

Abstract

We show that by rotating the orthogonally polarized coupling and probe beams with respect to an applied magnetic field, one can manipulate the detuned EIT peaks and the central CPO peak in a tripod system of He*.
