An All-Fiber Stretched-Pulse Thulium/Holmium Co-Doped Ultrafast Laser

Abstract

An all-fiber thulium/holmium laser has been demonstrated using a high numerical aperture fiber for intracavity dispersion management that permits operation in the stretched-pulse regime. With a net normal cavity dispersion the bandwidth is 15 nm.
